PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the safety of a disk tray of a disk drive even when the disk tray is drawn out from a personal computer main body and reaches a structurally dangerous state so as to prevent malfunction of the disk tray in advance. SOLUTION: In the disk drive for loading/unloading a recording medium by forwarding/reversing the disk tray in a chassis case, first and second detection switches 5, 6 for detecting the loading state of the disk tray 1 are arranged to a wiring board of the disk tray so as to be different levels in their operating directions.
