PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically extract attribute information from CAD (computer aided design) drawing data and to automatically perform a registration processing of the attribute information. SOLUTION: This electronic parts list system having a drawing design system 1 and a parts table system 2 is used. The drawing design system 1 retrieves specific elements of a CAD system existing in a CAD drawing of parts of equipment and extracts information about the parts from the CAD drawing as the attribute information. The parts table system 2 inspects consistency of the attribute information to a parts table 16-1. Then, the parts table system 2 registers the attribute information in the parts table 16-1 when the attribute information has the consistency. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
