PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for the dielectric layer of a plasma display panel excellent in dispersibility, keeping such dispersibility even in storage for a long time and exhibiting an excellent withstand voltage characteristic when forming the dielectric layer, and also to provide a green sheet and a member for the plasma display panel. SOLUTION: This composition for the dielectric layer of the plasma display panel includes a glass frit containing at least a glass component, a dispersant, a pyrolysis binder and a solvent, and is characterized in that a polycarboxylic acid-based polymer is used as the dispersant.
