PURPOSE: A portable sprinkler configured so as to be directly connected to a water supply facility is provided to achieve automatic suppression of a fire by automatically injecting a fire fighting liquid. CONSTITUTION: The portable sprinkler comprises a water vessel(10) directly connected to a water supply pipe(5), a water level adjustor(20) for controlling the amount of stored water, a pump(30) for pumping water inside the water vessel, a pressure detecting switch(40), a control unit(50) for controlling the driving of the pump, and a plurality of heads(60) reacting according to the peripheral temperature in case of a fire. The water supply pipe is connected to a pipe(7) of the sprinkler through a connection pipe(71), to which a check valve(72) is installed. Another check valve(73) is installed to the pipe connected to the pump through the connection pipe for preventing backward flowing of the water toward the water vessel.
