PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for magnetization by which a rolled sheet can be magnetized easily, quickly, and stably. SOLUTION: The method for magnetization includes a step of bringing a columnar permanent magnet, which is magnetized alternately in multipolar manner in N and S poles along its circumference into contact with one surface of a long magnetic attraction sheet, having an axis of easy magnetization oriented in the lengthwise direction of the sheet, in a state where the axis of the permanent magnet intersects the lengthwise direction of the sheet at right angles and a step of multipolar magnetizing the sheet along the axis of easy magnetization, by rotating the permanent magnet through winding up of the sheet. The wrapping angle of the magnetic attraction sheet supplied to the columnar permanent magnet is adjusted to≤45°. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
