PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost, compact and easy to assemble fastening structure for a geared motor. SOLUTION: The torque arm 10 has a geared motor side attachment surface 12A and an external member side attachment surface 16A formed perpendicularly to each other so that it is linked to a casing 110 for the geared motor 100 by bolts 114 in the direction of an output axis 106, while at the same it is linked to the external member 19 by a bolt 18 set in a direction along the rotational direction of the output axis 106; a geared motor side bolthole 12B and an external member side bolthole 16B are also formed perpendicularly on each surface. Further, boltholes 110A for fastening the torque arm are formed in the direction of the output axis 106 in four locations on the casing 110 of the geared motor 100 so that the boltholes form the four corners of a rectangle, and the torque arm 10 is fastened by bolts 114 in two locations of the boltholes 110A.
