PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing efficiently an organic film element such as an organic EL element that is superior in uniformity of light- emission quantity, luminous efficiency, and durability. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the organic film element comprises a process in which a substrate having an film layer on the support body of the substrate is used and a transfer body is made by forming an organic film layer on a temporary support body by a wet method, and the transfer body is overlapped on the substrate so that the organic film layer side faces the above film layer and heated, then, by separating the temporary support body, the organic film layer is transferred on the film coated face of the substrate. The coefficient of linear thermal expansion of the substrate support body is 20 ppm/°C or less. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
