PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability of fitting operation of a connector in a small space. SOLUTION: This cover for connector insertion installed on a terminal insertion surface 21 of the connector 20 mounted on an end of a wire harness and used at the time of inserting and fitting in and on a mating side connector 33a is provided with an installation part 11 free to install on the terminal insertion surface 21 on one end part and provided with a gripping part 12 to pressurize and operate the connector 20 through the cover 10 on the other end part. An opening part 11a is provided on an end surface of the installation part 11, a cutout part 13 to communicate to the opening part 11a is formed on a sidewall part of the cover 10, the cover 10 is installed on an electric wire bundle W through the opening part 11a and the cutout part 13, and it is made possible to fit and operate the cover by inserting the connector 20 held on a head end into the mating side connector 33a of an apparatus set in the small space by gripping the gripping part 12.
