<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceiling pendant luminaire including a negative ion generator 70, which is capable of spreading negative ions effectively by using its convective action. <P>SOLUTION: This ceiling pendant luminaire comprises an equipment main body 30 suspended from a ceiling, a shade supported at the top part of the equipment main body 30, a light source 50 arranged at the lower face side of the equipment main body 30 and the inside of the shade 40, and a negative ion generator 70 equipped in the equipment main body 30. Wherein the negative ion outlet of the negative ion generator 70 is set toward the upper direction and then convective flow of ions caused by heating of the light source 50 passes the vicinity of the negative ion generator 70. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
