<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage to a locking mechanism when a discharging lamp and a connector are attached and to surely attach the discharging lamp and the connector. <P>SOLUTION: A stopper plate 32 on a reflector 5 side is directly abutted to the connector 26 at the point the locking mechanism is locked when the connector 26 is attached to the discharging lamp 1 by a rotating operation. As the result, since the rotating operation of the connector 26 can be restricted, the excessive or deficient rotation of the connector 26 can be eliminated. Therefore, the damage to the locking mechanism when the discharging lamp 1 and the connector 26 are attached can be prevented and moreover, the discharging lamp 1 and the connector 26 can be surely attached. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
