<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high performance separator for a fuel cell suppressing deformation such as warpage, bulging, or cracking by forming the separator by using carbonaceous powder and a binder as components. <P>SOLUTION: In the separator for the fuel cell comprising a formed body using the carbonaceous powder and binder as components, a coefficient of variation of bulk density is ≤0.01, a coefficient of a variation in fracture energy is ≤0.12, a coefficient of variation of volume specific resistance is ≤0.10, a coefficient of variation in maximum bending stress is ≤0.10, and a coefficient of a variation in maximum bending stress strain is ≤0.10 to suppress dispersion of a whole of the formed body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
