<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for conducting the operation control of an image photographing means provided in a LAN from an information communication terminal connected to an Internet network via the network at a low cost so as not to increase the traffics on the Internet. <P>SOLUTION: In the method, a server device having a network interface, an image photographing means (camera), and an Internet connecting means, are connected to a LAN respectively, and a global IP address is allocated at the Internet connecting means. The operation of the image photographing means is controlled via the Internet network from an external information communication terminal installed with an Internet browsing software. When the server device receives an operation control request signal for the image photographing means from the information communication terminal, the server device conducts the operation control for the image photographing means by executing an operation control program stored in the image photographing means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
