PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a packet log recorder which can reduce the storage capacity. SOLUTION: The packet log recorder for recording a packet for propagating a plurality of observation points of a network comprises a storage means for recording information of the packet, and a plurality of arithmetic control means for capturing the packet for propagating one of the plurality of the observation points, extracting an invariable part during the propagation, applying a hash function, and writing data at a specific bit of an address of the storage means by regarding the obtained hash value as being the address of the storage means.
