PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication connection setting method capable of suppressing an occupied time of a wireless resource associated with setting processing of a communication connection in near distance wireless communication. SOLUTION: When a master BT apparatus (an apparatus mounted with a wireless module in compliance with the Bluetooth standards) 1 generates a connection setting request to a slave BT apparatus 2, the master BT apparatus 1 starts transmission of an ID packet from a point of time when it is predicted that the reception processing of the ID packet is started by the slave BT apparatus 2.
