<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a board connecting connector capable of preventing vibration and shock from being easily transmitted between connectors, of surely keeping a connection state, of connection with low insertion force, and of being easily miniaturized. <P>SOLUTION: This board connecting connector is provided with: a plug connector 2 with a male terminal 7 having a projecting part 9 mounted to a housing 8; and a receptacle connector 3 with a female terminal 17 having a receiving part 16 for the male terminal 7 mounted to a housing 18. The male terminal 7 has a spring beam 10 formed between the projecting part and a fixing part to the housing for keeping a contact state of the male terminal to the female terminal. The receiving part has a first contact piece 21 extending in a direction perpendicular to the insertion direction of the male terminal, and a second contact piece 22 extending in the insertion direction of the male terminal. The projecting part has a first contact part 7a in contact with the first contact piece and a second contact part 7c in contact with the second contact piece in the state inserted into the receiving part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
