PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording method for recorded data capable of surely restricting the reproduction of the recorded data from a copied optical recording medium while reducing a load on a normal user. SOLUTION: The recorded data recording method records recorded data encrypted based on a predetermined encrypted code on a multilayer optical recording medium 1 constituted by laminating two layers, i.e., an L1 recording layer 3 and an L0 recording layer 5, at least on one surface side of a substrate. A distance W is obtained between a reference point P3b on the L1 recording layer 3 second from the incident direction of a reproducing laser beam or a recording laser beam and a reference point P5b on the L0 recording layer 5 first from the incident direction, and distance information to specify the obtained distance W is used as an encrypted code to encrypt the recorded data.
