PURPOSE: A muscle strength reinforcing appliance is provided to reduce the generation of noise and mechanical troubles by virtue of its simplified overall structure. CONSTITUTION: The muscle strength reinforcing appliance comprises a base, a footstool(20) located at the upper surface of the base so as to move vertically, a pair of permanent magnets(30) installed at both left and right lower sides of the footstool, electromagnets(40) located just under the permanent magnets, respectively, which are adapted to generate a magnetic force according to the supply of electric current so as to push or pull the permanent magnets, and a control unit connected to the electromagnets for controlling the direction of the electric current to be supplied to the electromagnets.
