<p>A method for controlling outer loop power in which a target SIR is increased if an error is detected in a block error observation section and decreased if no error is detected in the block error observation, and a communication unit having a function for controlling outer loop power. Based on the number of erroneous blocks in error detection blocks included in unit transmission time TTI, at least one of the block error observation section, the target SIR increasing step or the target SIR decreasing step is controlled variably.</p> |
