A conversation control system includes a morpheme extraction unit (420) for extracting at least one morpheme constituting the smallest unit of a character string as first morpheme information according to the character string corresponding to input information, a topic search unit (340) for comparing the first morpheme information extracted by the morpheme extraction unit (420) to topic titles to search a topic tile matched with the first morpheme information, and a response acquisition unit (350) for acquiring a response sentence correlated to the topic tile according to the topic title searched by a topic specification information search unit (320).
