A method of controlling a wireless camera in a wireless camera system. The wireless camera system (300) includes a wireless camera (210) capable of radio-transmitting a video signal, a cable camera (310) for transmitting a video signal via a cable, and a reception device (400) for receiving the video signals transmitted from the respective cameras and transmitting a control signal for controlling the cameras. The wireless camera superimposes a response signal in response to the control signal from the reception device on the video signal and radio-transmits it to the reception device.
