A baseplate (1) is fastened to the top of the tripod. It carries a rotating joint (4) with a calibrated scale on a vertical axis. A slider (2) with a calibrated scale moves horizontally on the rotating head. There are fastening screws (8) for the head and for the slider. The slider carries a vertical plate (5) with four horizontal slots (10) to accommodate a camera mounting screw (6). There are calibration markings (11) near the slots.
