The U shaped cable channel [1] is produced with top edges that are rolled over [8,9] in the inner direction to form lips. The channel is produced in specific lengths and one end has plain projecting blades [13a,b]. The blades locate in the lips sections ad are the secured by inserting press in studs [19] into slots [14] without needing tools.
