PURPOSE:To improve the operation performance by simplifying the constitution in such a way that moving the position of a sheet controlled in compliance with various sized of sheets in a sheet-arranging mechanism is carried out in only one direction. CONSTITUTION:In compliance with the size of a sheet P which is provided from a sheet provision unit, the position of a plate 16 is adjusted with a handle 8, along rails 15.15, to the proceeding direction X in which the gap between a pair of sheet exhaust rollers 1,1 and a pair of positioning member 20 for the heads of sheets 20.20 is extended, or to the retroceding direction X' inversely in which said gap is reduced. By this position moving operation for said plate 16, sheet arranging mechanisms 20.20, 21, 22 which are integrated with said plate 16 are also moved together in longitudinal directions X-X' and are fitted in the suitable position in compliance with the size of sheets to be used. This position can be defined and fixed by putting said handle 18 in a concave stopper 19a. |
