The circulation circuit (4) consists at least of a hot-water pipe (5) and a circulating-pipe (6), a pump (7) operating in both directions, and one or more return valves (18,28). A storage loading circuit (3) and the circulation circuit possess a shared pipe-section (9) containing the pump and are mutually shut off by the return valves. The heater has at least one heat source (1), and hot water accumulator. The circulation circuit and heat source are connected by a heat-exchanger (15).
