The towing craft for water-skiing is fitted with two motors and propellers, with the controls at the handle for the skier at the end of the towing rope. The controls set the motor speeds, and give the steering by increasing/decreasing one motor speed or the other. When the control buttons are released, the motors idle so that the craft comes to rest.
