PURPOSE:To shorten a processing time by rearranging continuous information for alteration, insertion, or deletion without requiring any working memory. CONSTITUTION:When continuous information B of a continuous information storage device 13 is altered from a state shown in a figure (a), specific sequential rearrangement processing is carried out to form an unused area (hatched part) behind the continuous information B because the starting address ADR(C) of information following desired information is smaller than the starting address EMPADR of the unused area of the continuous information, and the insertion and deletion of the information B are enabled. Further, when continuous information C is altered from a state in a figure (b), it is judged that ADR(D)> EMPADR, and prescribed sequential rearrangement processing is performed to rearrange the continuous information storage device 13, so that the insertion and deletion of the continuous information C are possible. |
