Printing with a choice of either offset printing or intaglio printing comprises using the same ink for both types of printing, the ink for offset printing being used at a low temperature giving a viscosity of 10-1000 Pa.s and the ink for intaglio printing being used at a higher temperature giving a viscosity of 0.01-0.2 Pa.s.
