It is intended to provide an ACT1 gene promoter represented by SEQ ID NO:9, a GAP3 gene promoter represented by SEQ ID NO:10, a PMA1 gene promoter represented by SEQ ID NO:11, and a TEF1 gene promoter represented by SEQ ID NO:12; a plasmid containing a gene expression unit containing such a promote r; transformed cells having the plasmid transferred thereinto; and a process fo r producing a copolymerized polyester by culturing the transformed cells.
