A lifting trolley manipulates and presents large pieces of plate glass to a shop window frame for installation. The lifting trolley has a wheel-wheel (13, 14) mounted chassis with a two-part upright sliding jack-mast (2). The mast esp. has a fixed base section (2a) with a side-mounted second sliding section (2b) with a top-mounted side-arm (3). The side-arm is raised and lowered by a winch with cables and pulley wheels. The second sliding section (2b) has a tilt pivot point (7).
