The panel (1) which can be used as a door or a front cover is assembled of a central sheet (C) of a suitable material, surrounded by a frame with two lateral elements (2, 3) and two transversal elements at the top (4a, 4b) as well as at the bottom (5a, 5b). Each of the pairs of transversal elements (4a, 4b, 5a, 5b) is joined with tongue and groove and can be slid along each other in opposite directions in order to facilitate the exceeding ends to be cut off if the panel (1) has to be adjusted in width. The ends holding the area for the insertion of the joint elements (7) remain uncut.
