PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform the smooth treatment of an accident by eliminating trouble with a speeder, by displaying a speed limit violation and its distance in violation by counting a repeating pulse to display both of them by a display device and discriminating an abrupt acceleration speed during pursuit. CONSTITUTION:A repeating pulse with frequency generated in a car speed sensor 1 and proportional to a car speed is counted and a policeman performs display lock by manual operation to display said pulse by a display device 7. At the time of abrupt acceleration for approach to an objective car, because the car speed data of a counter 4 is frequently changed, no output is performed and lock operation becomes ineffective while, at the time of parallel running with a violation car, a violated speed is displayed by the display device 7 when the distance counted by a distance counter 13 exceeds the recognition distance data preset to a distance discrimination circuit 9. Therefore, by displaying a violation speed and its succeeding time while separating an instantaneous speed at the time of abrupt approach, the trouble with a speeder is eliminated and an accident can be treated smoothly. |
