The motor shaft (5) is held in plain bearings (7) at the top and bottom. The top bearing is held in a flexible mounting (27) in the top of the motor housing (2). The bottom bearing is held in a closure plate (12) at the bottom of the housing. This plate engages the top surface (11) of a pump body (3). The end of the motor shaft incorporates an eccentric (6) engaging in a bowl-shaped body (18) moving in a space (16) in the pump body. Projections (22,23) at the bottom and top prevent axial motion of the motor shaft.
