In a method for regulating pressure in hydrostatic drive systems, the feed volume of a variable-displacement pump (1), by which a variable-displacement motor (2) is driven, is reduced, when a specific pressure level is reached, to a value which guarantees that the pressure level is maintained. It is proposed permanently to determine separately by means of an electronic module (7) the volume flows generated by the variable-displacement pump (1) and received by the variable-displacement motor (2) and to compare them with one another. Insofar as different volume flows occur, this is a signal that the permissable operating pressure is exceeded and pressure medium flows off via pressure-relief valves (4, 5). The feed volume of the variable-displacement pump (1) is therefore reduced by means of signals from the electronic module (7), until the volume flows are approximately equal. The volume flows of the variable-displacement pump (1) and of the variable-displacement motor (2) are determined indirectly by measuring the drive speed of the variable-displacement pump (1), the setting of the feed volume, the speed of movement of the variable-displacement motor, the setting of the absorbed volume and subsequent calculation. The advantage is that an otherwise conventional hydraulic pressure cut-off is avoided. <IMAGE> |
