It is possible to provide a speech control method and device for connection or cut off of a telephone speech line by using an auditory organ (8) without using a complicated mechanical part. By using an acoustic impedance and a reflected wave characteristic of an auditory organ (8) of a listener or a speaker, the distance between a loudspeaker (10) and the auditory organ of the listener or the speaker is detected so as to control connection and/or cut off of the speech line.
