<p>Filter cartridges (1) of the type made from a sheet (3) of filter paper (5) pleated as an accordion (7) on a cylindrical surface. It essentially comprises the pinching by pairs (9, 10), (10, 11) of the contiguous pleats at various levels (p1, p2, p3, s1, s2) in order to make on the outer surface of the cartridge (1) a plurality of honeycombs (21). The invention enables to substantially prolonge the life duration of filter cartridges (1). Amongst the most interesting applications of the invention, the regeneration of solvents of washing bath for dry cleaning machines and the filtration of air for internal combustion engines as well as water filtration may be mentioned.</p> |
