The present invention is directed to a cartridge (100) for use in a dermal abrasion system. The cartridge (100) comprises a supply compartment (110) and a waste compartment (130). The front side (113)of the supply compartment (110) comprises an air inlet fitting (115) for introducing air into the supply compartment (110)and the bottom side (112) of the supply compartment (110) comprises a feed tube fitting (117). The front side (133) of the waste compartment (130) comprises a vacuum inlet fitting (135) for introducing vacuum into the waste compartment (130) and the front side (133) of the waste compartment (130) comprises a return tube fitting (138). The present invention also includes an apparatus (200) for use in a dermal abrasion system employing the novel cartridge (100) and a method for removing debris in a dermal abrasion system with the novel cartridge (100).
