The clamp (10), for a drill, is structured to drill a number of holes e.g. at the side walls supporting the shelves of a bookcase. The assembly has an initial unit (11) to drill at least one hole (1b) in the required position in the workpiece. A second unit (12) has a guide channel (12a) to cover the drill during drilling and guide its movements to the workpiece location for a hole. A third unit (13) aligns the clamp with a workpiece edge. The second and third units are separate, clamped together by a bolt (14). The first unit has one or more wedge shoulders (11a) pitched to its outer side (11b). The second unit has a bush to give the guide channel. The center line through the guide channel is set through two locking bolts to form a plane at an angle of 45 degrees, or 45 degrees to one of the two units. |
