The invention relates to a method for separating and purifying condensate consisting of a mixture of oil, water and, optionally, compressed air. According to the invention, the compressed air is firstly relieved from pressure in a pressure release stage (2), whereupon it escapes, and the remaining condensate consisting of oil and water is then sent through a prefractionator (6). Freely floating oil is drawn into an oil reservoir (8), whereas the remaining condensate is liberated from the remaining oil remnants in an exchangeable activated carbon stage (10). In the activated carbon stage (10), a sample of the effluent water is taken whose cloudiness is determined by comparing it to a reference value. |
