The pump (2) is a rotary pump with a hand-operated handle. A tube (4) dips down into the bottom of the honey jar and the honey is sucked up to the pump and discharged through a curved-over nozzle (1) onto a piece of bread or toast. The tube passes through a lid (3) with a screw thread to screw onto a standard honey jar.
