A hot water storage tank (11) feed pipe (40) forms part of a of a hot water system, enters the tank base (41) upwards and discharges through a number of side-outlets (43). The feed pipe (40) within the tank (11) consists of a series of sections (42) assembled end-to-and and terminating in a T-piece. The sleeve fit pipe sections esp. have flush-finish interior and exterior surfaces.
