PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent nicks in a transfer leaf on the occasion of slitting the leaf and moreover to realize this without increasing the number of printing units, while making it possible to form a transfer layer such as a peeling layer to be thick by coating and also avoiding a material cost increase. SOLUTION: The transfer leaf 10 has at least the peeling layer 5 in contact with a support sheet, as the transfer layer, on the support sheet 3 constituted of a base sheet 1 and a release layer 2 provided on the transfer layer 4 side of the base sheet. The release layer of the support sheet is provided off a slit portion and easy adhesion treatment a is applied to the whole surface of a release layer portion and the slit portion from above. The peeling layer is provided on the slit portion and the release layer portion and it is made a layer which is easy to peel off from the support sheet in the portion of the release layer, but not easy to peel off from the support sheet in the slit portion.
