PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display device and a video data preparing device which are good in operability without causing any trouble in the case of displaying a video by using prepared video data. SOLUTION: A controller main body 2A controlling a plasma display device 1 for displaying the video and a substrate 2B outputting the video data to the controller main body 2A are made freely attachable and detachable through a connector 50. The substrate 2B is provided with: a RAM 12, a ROM 13 storing information; a video control section 14 preparing the video data by using the information; and an CPU 11 controlling the RAM 12, the ROM 13, and the video control section 14. The controller main body 2A is provided with a power section 35 supplying power to the substrate 2B. The power section 35 is connected through the connector 50 to the substrate 2B.
