<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trouble diagnosis device for an automatic transmission which prevents determination error for high oil temperature caused by ground short-circuiting trouble of an oil temperature sensor to improve precision of failure diagnosis to the oil temperature sensor. <P>SOLUTION: This device is provided with: a shift position detecting means to detect if a shift lever operated by a driver is at a position other than a traveling range position; an oil temperature voltage value determining means to detect a voltage value of an oil temperature signal to determine if it is a set value or not; a timer to count up when an oil temperature alarm is outputted, with the shift position detected as other than the traveling range position, and as the voltage value of the oil temperature signal is determined to be less than the set value; and an oil temperature sensor trouble diagnosis means to determine if the timer counts up time to reach the set time or not, and stop the oil temperature alarm of an oil temperature alarm means when it is determined to have reached the set time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
