PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cured material suitable as an optical plastic part having light weight, excellent transparency, high heat-resistance, low linear expansion coefficient, high mechanical strength, low water-absorption and low birefringence and provide a polymerizable composition to give the cured material. SOLUTION: The polymerizable composition contains (A) at least one kind of bifunctional methacrylate selected from aliphatic bifunctional methacrylates of general formula [I] and (B) at least one kind of polyfunctional methacrylate selected from aliphatic polyfunctional methacrylates expressed by general formula [II].
