FOCUSING STATE DETECTION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a focusing state detection device in which a focus state is rapidly detected with a simple constitution without using the wobbling method. SOLUTION: Subject light made incident on a light separation optic system of a camera main body is separated into reflected light and transmitted light by a half mirror surface 80 of a first separation prism PW1 prior to color separation. Then, the reflected light is made incident on imaging faces of imaging elements A and B for focusing state detection as the subject light for the focusing state detection. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
