PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a breadthwise center part of a photographic film from coming into contact with an internal wall part of a read conveyance path to break when the photographic film having a gutter curl is carried along the read conveyance path. SOLUTION: A film carrier has conveyor roller couples 116, 118, and 120 along the read conveyance path and those conveyor roll couples 116, 118, and 120 are each composed of a driving roller 122 and a driven roller 124. The driven roller 124 is provided with a roll part 132 at both end parts of a support part 130 respectively and has a curl correcting roll 134 arranged at the center part of the support shaft part 130. The curl correcting roll 134 has its external diameter equal to that of the roll part 132 and rotates in one body with the roll part 132. If the photographic film 98 has a convex gutter curl on the surface, the curl correcting roller 134 makes the photographic film 98 elastically deform to correct the gutter curl.
