PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable even an unskilled person on a spectacle store side, to smoothly and adequately fabricate lenses. SOLUTION: An information recording medium 6 with data including at least one among the lens design data, lens material data and customer data on the lens to be fabricated recorded thereon is previously formed in a spectacle lens manufacturer A and the spectacle store B is provided with such medium. An apparatus 1 for fabricating the lens provided with a reading section for reading the data from the medium 6 and a lens fabricating section for fabricating the lens to be fabricated based on the data read by the reading section is installed in the spectacle store B.
