PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-way optical module whose manufacturing cost is reduced by shortening the work time required for relative positioning between respective members. SOLUTION: The two-way optical module comprises an optical fiber 20, a beam splitter 40 which transmits only transmission light and reflects only reception light, a light emitting element 60, a light receiving element 70, a coupling lens 30 which couples the reception light to the light receiving element, and a condenser lens 50 which converges the reception light on the light receiving element, and the beam splitter 40, the optical fiber 20,... are fixed to block bases 25,... and positioning crossed marks 11, 21,... are given to the block bases 25,... and a base plate 10, and the block bases 25,... are attached on the base plate 10 so that the positioning crossed grooves of both of them coincide with each other.
