PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copolymer having sufficiently improved elastic properties at low temperatures, even though the content of its copolymer component is low. SOLUTION: The new polyetherpolyol derivative is constituted mainly of the constituent units represented by formula (1) and formula (2), and has alcoholic hydroxy groups or their esters at both of the terminals. Formula (1): -CH<SB>2</SB>CH<SB>2</SB>CH<SB>2</SB>CH<SB>2</SB>O-, Formula (2): -CH<SB>2</SB>CR<SP>1</SP>R<SP>2</SP>CR<SP>3</SP>R<SP>4</SP>CH<SB>2</SB>O- (wherein R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>, R<SP>3</SP>and R<SP>4</SP>are each a hydrogen atom or a≥5C hydrocarbon group which may be substituted, provided that not all of the R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>, R<SP>3</SP>and R<SP>4</SP>are hydrogen atoms).
