PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cord reel capable of being compactly stored in electric instruments, and easily installing a case side conductor and a reel side conductor. SOLUTION: This cord reel for electric wire is provided with a reel 2 capable of winding cord 4 in a case 1, and used by being built in electric instruments. The case 1 is formed by combining a main body portion 1a and a cover portion 1b divided in a vertical direction, and a tilting surface 1r tilting in a diametrical direction is formed on an end surface of the cover portion 1b. Therefore, the cord reel kept out of the way of a layout in the electric instrument can be provided, thereby contributing to make the electric instrument compact. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
